Origin Story
In 2021, founder Rob Ellis waited 3 months for a landscaper to tackle his overgrown Bishopston garden. When they finally arrived, they quoted £800 for what was essentially a bramble wrestling match. So he did what any sensible Bristolian would do – bought a second-hand strimmer, made 12 mistakes, and accidentally created a business.
Today, GreenThumb Local is a team of 12 RHS-certified professionals who’ve transformed 300+ gardens across Bristol’s trickiest postcodes.
